A thrown stoneware dish for a 3 inch pillar candle, with a wall high enough to contain a full burn-down and a rim wide enough to sit a spent match on.
Same matte ash glaze as the vase. Glazed inside so wax lifts out cleanly once it has set.

- Thrown and trimmed, wall raised to 1.6in with a flat 0.5in rim. Interior fully glazed so wax releases rather than soaking in.
- How it ages
- Does not age. May craze over years, which is cosmetic. Soot marks the rim above a wick and comes off with a cloth.

Care
- Freeze it for twenty minutes and the wax lifts out in one piece.
- Hand wash.
Cautions
- Not frost proof.
- Never leave a candle unattended, and never burn one below 1cm — the base will get hot enough to crack the glaze.
- Glaze break and colour vary piece to piece.
