A 71 inch washed linen runner, hemmed with mitred corners rather than fringed — a runner gets pulled at from both ends and a knotted fringe does not survive it.
Long enough to overhang a six-seat table at both ends, which is the length most runners get wrong.

- Softens and creases like all the linen here. Stains from oil and wine are realistic on a table runner — it will get them, and a hot wash with an oxygen bleach takes most of them out.

- Iron damp on a hot setting if you want it flat for a table.
