Two waffle-weave linen tea towels with a hanging loop. Waffle because it dries glass without leaving lint, and because it dries itself in a fraction of the time a terry towel takes.
They arrive stiff and they are supposed to. Linen needs three or four washes before it does its job properly — a tea towel that is absorbent out of the packet has a softener on it that is stopping it working.

- Gets markedly more absorbent over the first month as the mill finish washes out, then holds for years. Stains; linen tea towels always do.

Care
- Wash before first use, and twice more before you judge them.
- Machine wash hot. Tumble dry is fine.
- No fabric softener — it is the one thing that ruins them.
Cautions
- Sold as a pair only.
- Stiff and only averagely absorbent until washed several times.
- Not a pot holder. Linen conducts heat.
